MPEG compression artefacts of a HDV camera can be removed
without losing sharpness or detail.
The video filter Desaturate uses only the brightness of a
selected color for generating a black-white style. The example
above shows the result of the desaturation modes red, green
and blue. We find that the green one gives the best results
in most cases.
CGM Desaturate Balanced
Here you can define the mix of which RGB source color is used
for calculating the grayscale video. Visual control of the
bezier curves displays the settings for each color separately.
The CCD of a video camera can't match the fantastic contrast
range of the human eye, but with this video filter you can
improve the contrast of the highlights so important detail
becomes much more visible.
